NPR on How to Beat the Cubicle Trap

NPR created a short video on beating the cubicle trap. It’s a quick, quirky video with a message and production value any employer can replicate.
You’ll notice it’s not advocating big breaks, either. It urges employees to simply get up and move. Frequently.
That’s the message and intent behind Hotseat. We want employees and their family and friends to get up frequently throughout the day to complete two-minute activity breaks of their own choosing. These short breaks interrupt prolonged sitting just enough to reduce the health risks associated with it.
Don’t just sit there. Tell your employees it’s OK to get up and move.
